Our new collection of jewellery has been inspired by Adriaen van Cronenburgh’s C16th portrait of Katheryn of Berain (the Mother of Wales). Jewellery designer Kate Dumbleton has used details from the portrait including Katheryn’s dress, prayer book and the skull she rest her hand on to create a strong and dramatic range of jewellery in a mixture of metals, onyx and garnets. The skull charm that features in this range was created by Kate and designer Russell Lownsborough who has worked with Vivienne Westwood amongst others.
