National Wool Museum Blanket
Designed and woven at National Wool Museum, this beautiful blanket has been inspired by one of the blankets in the collection.
Made of pure wool and woven on a traditional Dobcross loom in a delicate grey with blue stripes and border.
This blanket is the result of a collaboration between the new apprentice craftspeople at National Wool Museum and Daniel Harris from the London School of Cloth. Daniel started the London School of Cloth in 2011 after discovering a loom in rural Wales. After dismantling and rebuilding the loom Daniel opened London’s first micro-mill and it has been a privilege for the team to work alongside Daniel as he shares his skills, knowledge and expertise.
